A little about me:
Education: I earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Catholic University and worked as a Pediatric nurse for 15 years. After staying home with my children and helping with their different learning needs, I felt called to education and completed Marian University's Transition to Teaching program in early 2016. This is my 10th year at St. Barnabas; my roles have included Kindergarten/Resource instructional assistant, 5th/6th grade Religion teacher and 4th grade teacher. Personal: My husband and I have been blessed with five children ages 17-27. We have been parishioners of St. Barnabas since 1999, when we moved from Kansas City to Indianapolis. Philosophy: I believe a teacher needs to have equal amounts of passion and compassion. My passion for helping all students succeed, and recognizing that God made us all special so that something about HIM can be revealed is the focus of my 2nd grade classroom. This year we will again be using "Jupiter Ed" for all communication, including homework. Click here for the website. Mrs. Rittenhouse, Mrs. Janicke and I have a great year planned! Please keep us in your prayers this year, and be assured of our prayers for you. Comments are closed.
